Thailand's economic fundamentals are strong enough to weather any impact from the US election outcome, the country's finance minister said on Friday. Finance Minister Apisak Tantivorawong said exports to the US would likely decrease, but the election outcome would have a minimum impact on overall exports. "Our economic fundamentals are stronger than many countries. This is why we believe Thailand will not be too affected," Mr Apisak told reporters. Exports are expected to fall 0.5% in 2016, according to the ministry.
